This year organizers are once again bringing high level road racing to the Greater Victoria Area with three challenging stages:

June 2 - Energy Lab Time Trial on Dallas Road (Clover Point)

This 5km prologue sprint time trial has been the kick-starter event of the cycling series and features a very scenic and technical course along the Victoria water-front area. Racers will need to negotiate hair-pin turns and strong cross winds in order to attempt to post the fastest individual time. New for this year will be an additional special "Merckx" category which will go to the top 3 overall men/women racers who complete the fastest times without the use of aero-bars, disc wheels, and tear-drop helmets.

June 3 - Metchosin Cycling Classic (Metchosin)

Claimed to be one of the most brutal road races in BC, this race features a 10km circuit through the hills of Metchosin. Rolling and winding roads with steep punchy climbs and fast sweeping descents provide the complete package to test the skills and endurance of even the best cyclists.

June 4 - Russ Hays Grand Prix / BC Criterium Championships (Victoria)

The BC Legislature becomes the site of Criterium Racing at its best! Victoria BC is once again hosting the BC Provincial Criterium Championships for Masters and Elite/U23 racers. Participants in their respective categories will be racing multiple laps around the 1km 4-corner circuit at speeds of up to 60km/hr. Every few laps, special lap prizes or Primes will keep the action alive and the speeds ferocious. With over 4000 cheering spectators, the event will be electrifying and thrilling.

June 4 - Tim Hortons Timbits Challenge

Kids also get a chance to dream of racing glory by participating in the extremely popular Tim Hortons Timbits Challenge. If you have kids between the ages of 5 to 10, get them signed up to ride one "Victory" lap of the race course with some Olympians, and also receive free prizes! Registration is Free! Other events throughout the day include a bike rodeo, training wheel freedom, family bike equipment showcase, on-site bike mechanic, helmet fitting, ‘bling your bike’ contest and much more.

The Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series p/b PISE is brought to you in partnership with Cycling BC, the City of Victoria, District of Metchosin, and the Downtown Victoria Business Association.
