Mechanic
If you are passionate about bicycles, we need you.
This individual should be organized, mechanically inclined, and dedicated to completing assignments and projects to meet the high standards of quality at the Trek Bicycle Store Mississauga.
Primary job duties include but are not limited to:
• Interact with customers; provide customers with answers regarding basic maintenance and service accessories
• Write work orders based on, "on-the-spot" analysis; provide customers with accurate cost estimates and maintenance suggestions
• Perform all repairs from minor repairs to full tune ups and overhauls
• Assemble new bikes
• Maintain an organized, clean work area, and ensure the Tech Centre is ready for the start of the next business day
• Perform other tasks assigned by store and service managers
• Learn, understand and adhere to company policy, programs and standards
• Accurately input customers; Name, cell and home phone numbers, email, and address into Ascend RMS
The Bicycle Technician position is a part time or full time position; you will work up to 40 hours per week depending on the season, and you should be available to work evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate:
• Has at least 2 years of mechanical or tech experience working on bicycles
• Is neat and organized, and is respectful of a shared work space
• Has some experience in a retail or customer service environment
• Is intrinsically motivated, able to work both independently and as a member of a team, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
A few more things:
• Please do not apply if you oversleep, must get rides to work later than our workday begins, experience flat tires every week, must hold onto a cell phone all day, or will become an expert with no need to learn or take advice after the first day.
• Must be able to Talk and Work at the same time. Must also remember to come back to work after lunch and not expect a gold star for being on time.

This individual should be enthralled by bicycles, devoted to world class customer service, and dedicated to completing assignments and projects to meet the high standards of quality at the Trek Bicycle Store Mississauga.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Complete an industry-leading training program which involves in-store training as well as, at-home internet-based training
• Interact with customers and provide exemplary customer service; educate customers about bicycles, bicycle accessories and clothing, and any other cycling-related products in the store
• Perform bike fittings for all Trek models; Road, MTB, BMX, Hybrid etc.
• Assist in the daily operations of the store, including restocking, cleaning, organizing and merchandising
• Learn from your coworkers and share knowledge regarding new products and events
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
• Learn, understand and adhere to company policy, programs and standards
• Accurately input customers; Name, cell and home phone numbers, email, and address into Ascend RMS
The Sales Associate position is a part time or full time position; you will work up to 40 hours per week depending on the season, and you should be available to work evenings and weekends
The ideal candidate:
• Should be passionate about cycling as well as promoting the benefits of a cycling lifestyle and culture. Candidate doesn’t necessarily need to have prior sales or bicycle retail experience, but must be willing to learn about bicycles, cycling accessories, and cycling culture.
• Is comfortable working where sales performance is measured
• Enthusiastically embraces the concept of serving the customer and providing an "Over the Top" retail experience
• Is capable of safely lifting and carrying 40lbs on a regular basis
• Is intrinsically motivated, able to work both independently and as a member of a team, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
