The Oakley Atlantic Racing cycling team is excited to welcome Calum MacEachen of Mahone Bay, NS, to the race team for 2018!
Calum enters the Junior category this year after an impressive progression through the Cadet ranks. Racing for Nova Scotia as a 16 year old at the 2017 Canada Games, against Canada's top U23 MTB racers, Calum finished top-15. Other accolades included winning Bicycle Nova Scotia's Male Youth Athlete of the Year and an extensive list of road, MTB and cyclo-cross wins across the region.
Team Director, Terry Tomlin, states "Calum is exactly the type of athlete that the Oakley Atlantic team was created to help develop. He combines a great attitude with a hard work ethic and he's displayed exceptional talent in the saddle. This team has a history of identifying and assisting young talent and we're going to keep paying it forward by helping Calum smash his future goals. We're very excited to welcome Calum to the team!"
