Bridge the Gap (BTG) is offering its first #conversations webinar on nutrition on Wednesday, May 26th - 9AM Vancouver time. European road pro and Olympian Leah Kirchmann will be joined by Anne Guzman as an expert host. Leah and along with other BTG mentors will jump in to contribute, including: Svein Tuft (Cycling Legend), Alison Jackson (Liv Racing) and Hugo Houle (Astana- Premier Tech). The chat will cover topics ranging from how they fuel on and off the bike for optimal performance, their biggest career lessons around nutrition, the realities of racing abroad and eating as part of a pro team, along with lots of other relevant cycling nutrition topics.
Anne Guzman is the owner of Nutrition Solutions Anne Guzman, and is a Sports Nutritionist with a background in Kinesiology. Anne is currently completing her MSc in health sciences/Kinesiology. She spent six years racing on the women's professional road circuit and has been running her business for over a decade.
Anne works with endurance athletes and cyclists from recreational to elite World Cup level. She is a huge believer in educating and teaching athletes how to manage their own nutrition so that they feel empowered when on their own traveling to races. She believes that optimal sports nutrition is the key to enjoying longevity in endurance sports as well as to long-term health.
