February 15/22 16:18 pm - Clara Hughes Inducted Into Olympians for Life

Canadian Olympic medal winning cyclist and speedskater Clara Hughes is one of five athletes - and the first Canadian - to be inducted into the World Olympians Association (WOA) Olympians for Life at the Beijing Games.

The new Olympians for Life Beijing 2022 are:

Simidele Adeagbo OLY - Nigeria, Skeleton
Alain Calmat OLY - France, Figure Skating
Clara Hughes OLY - Canada, Speed Skating and Cycling
Shiva Keshavan OLY - India, Luge
Ben Sandford OLY - New Zealand, Skeleton

To be in the company of this cohort of athletes from five continents is an honour and deeply inspiring to me.
