On Thursday, Round 2 of the UCI Track Nations Cup gets underway in Milton, at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre. Today - Wednesday - we had an opportunity to meet up with Team Canada, take some photos and do some interviews.

It is a large team, with both experienced and development riders. The Women's Sprint squad consists of Canada's A team - Kelsey Mitchell, Lauriane Genest and Sarah Orban. These three riders won gold, silver and bronze medals at Round 1 a few weeks ago. However, the very powerful German squad was not there - they are in Milton, so we should see some very intense racing.

The Men's Sprint team is led by Olympian Nick Wammes, along with development riders Ryan Dodyk and Tyler Rorke

On the endurance side, Canada will field two Team Pursuit squads in both the women and the men. The women will have Olympian Ariane Bonhomme and the men will have Olympian Michael Foley.
