Canadian Junior woman Gracey Hemstreet (Norco Factory) took her second straight win in the Downhill World Cup on Sunday, at Fort William, Scotland, and is firmly in control of the leader's jersey. Fellow Canadian Jackson Goldstone (Santa Cruz Syndicate), the Junior men's world champion finished second after winning the first round, and continues to lead the overall standings. Four Canadian men finished in the top-7 in the Junior competition.

The Elite Canadians did not fare as well, with the only Elite woman, Rachel Pageau (Jukebox), not finishing her qualifying run on Saturday after crashing in rain and high winds, and not making Sunday's final. The top Canadian Elite man was Lucas Cruz (Norco Factory), a distant 31st. Mark Wallace (Canyon Collective Factory) was 35th and Kirk McDowall 37th. Usual Canadian Favourite Finn Iles (Specialized Gravity) did not compete after suffering concussion symptoms following Round 1.
