Just a final reminder that the July 2nd Cypress Hill Climb in West Vancouver, BC is fast approaching. The race promises to be exciting and well attended and we have secured some fabulous prizes, not least a chance to win a Masi Gran Criterium frameset.

We are offering all the major categories and for those of you who are not aware, all funds collected will be donated to Bicycles for Humanity, a charity that collects and ships used and discarded bicycles to Africa. For our efforts, the team has just received a thank you email from none other than Paul Sherwen, one of the voices of the Tour de France.

The Hill Climb isn't all - we are also organising a fun dinner event at the Templeton Diner on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver the evening of July 2nd. Cost is $20 whcih includes entree and a dessert and again this is a fundraiser for Bicycles for Humanity. Pat Montani, founder of BFH, will be on hand to tell us about his plans for the Vancouver area. Space is limited, though there are some seats left, if you would like to join us, let us know asap!

All the latest details including race bible are on our team website : www.steamerracing.ca or you can contact race organiser Philip Burgess philipbee[at]gmail.com
