This September and October, London's Forest City Velodrome will offer discounts on introductory track cycling sessions to members of the Onartio Cycling Association and on-line readers of the cycling websites in Canada. Any individual, club, or group booking a "Track 1" session two weeks in advance will receive free track bike rentals (value: $10/person).

During this time, the FCV's Saturday afternoon Velo-Kids program will also be offered free to any under-18 riders in Ontario. Velo-kids is devoted to developing bike handling skills, speed, strength, endurance, and tactics. The FCV staff welcome coaches and will work with them to ensure that their young riders improve for the 2008 racing season, no matter what their discipline.

The FCV is a place where cyclists of all skill levels and cycling backgrounds can enjoy the thrill of velodrome cycling in either a recreational or a competitive setting. Many clubs and individuals have already taken advantage of our introduction to Track cycling and have gone on to participate in our extensive recreational programs. Velodrome staff are looking forward to introducing many more new riders to the fun and health benefits of riding on the track in the coming months.
