The Oak Bay Junior Riders group is the newest cycling club in Victoria, BC! It gives young riders between the ages of ten and fifteen an opportunity to explore bicycle racing in a fun and safe team environment! It is also a great way for parents to encourage their kids to be physically active while having fun and meeting new friends!

The Oak Bay Junior Cycling Team meets 2-3 times a week at Oak Bay Bikes in Victoria. We usually ride for around an hour and use short loops so everyone can ride together. We also play plenty of sprint and technique games where skill, strategy and balance matter as much as fitness.

Oak Bay Junior Cycling welcomes any girl or boy age 10-15 who has a bicycle. We don't mind what bike you bring to practice, as long as you enjoy riding and you bring your helmet. We are currently looking for new riders with little to no experience in bicycle racing.

For more information feel free to visit www.oakbayjuniors.blogspot.com or contact Thomas Skinner at skinnert@uvic.ca to register

World Cup pro Justin Leov (Yeti/Fox Factory Team) of Christchurch New Zealand is excited about the year ahead. Already some excellent results in his home race series, as well as a rapid return to form after a season ending crash and injury. Justin has also recently re-signed a new 2 year deal with his team, Yeti/Fox Factory, and now announces a re-launch of his web site with a whole new look.

Check it out at www.justinleov.com

Justin - "It was time to give the web site a facelift and make it a little more interactive. I really like the images on the site and the whole clean, slick feel it has. I'll be addign to it a lot over the season. I'm really excited about the year ahead. I was just getting back to my world top ten form when I had a serious crash in August last year, but now I feel I have fully recovered and I'll be back to chasing major points on the World Cup circuit."

Justin recently finished filming with the Adrenalin Hunters crew, and also features in the upcoming Clay Porter movie, F1RST.
