Pat Ferris won the shortened Baldonnel time trial, on a cold and windy Thursday night. He did the 8 km distance in 13:02 minutes. Gord Harris was second at 13:51, Sandy McDonald third at 13:53 and Richard Wood 4th at 14:31.

Sunday is the 12th running of the ‘King of Spring ‘road race on the Montney / North Pine circuit. This fast 40 km road race is the first spring classic of the year. Stephen Ferris is the defending Champion, but will not be here as he is training in Arizona. Colter Young will lead the charge along with Robin Baillie to try for the win. Pat Ferris will also be trying for his first win in this race as he has come second or third eight times over the years but has not won it, yet.

Jolea Bilodeau will be out to defend her ‘Queen of Spring’ trophy win from last year. Past winner Barb Polehoykie and up and comers Kendra Young and Sandy McDonald will also be in contention.

Race time is at 2 pm
