May 25/09 11:04 am - 2009 Zegna Yaletown Grand Prix Update

Posted by Editoress on 05/25/09

The 6th annual Zegna Yaletown Grand Prix is set to go July 1st  Due to popular request from Masters Men racers, we have decided to add the Masters Men (30+) event back into the event schedule for this year. The Masters race will start at 2:55pm and will be 35 minutes long. All riders can register online at Karelo.com.

With up to 20,000 spectators expected on race day, this is the great chance for teams and events to reach a large audience of interested and excited consumers. If you'd like space in our expo or team alley, please Race Director Paul Done at paul@yaletowngrandprix.com. Expo and Team Alley space is free for clubs, charities and events.

As always, volunteers are needed to help in every facet of raceday execution: marshalling, registration, set-up and tear-down. If you're able to give a few hours of time, we'd love to have your help. Along with lunch, training and a t-shirt, we have a pizza and beer party for vollies after the race is done. If you'd like more information on being part of this great day, please contact our volunteer coordinator Darren Sinclare at dssinc@gmail.com.
