Position available for part time contractor (12 weeks / average of 14 hours a week)

The CCA is searching for a part time contactor to manage the BMX national ranking system for 2009. The Canadian Cycling Association (CCA) is the recognized authority by the UCI (Union Cycliste International) on all aspects of cycling in Canada, including BMX, Cyclocross, Mountain Bike, Para-Cycling, Road and Track.

Job Description:

With the support of the BMX Coordinator, the BMX ranking manager is responsible for maintaining the BMX national ranking for the 2009 season, to liaise with provincial/territorial associations and race organizers to insure the reception of all the results.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills especially in Excel, and needs to be a detail oriented person. The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision. This position does not require the individual to work from the national office. The start date for this position is as soon as possible with preference of June 8th. The remuneration is based on a $2000.00 contact for 12 weeks / 2 days a week.
