Pan Am Results

We have a few more results from last night's track session at the Pan Am Games. Val Davidge reports that the session went smoothly, with a number of Pan Am records broken (she thinks 5 so far), including the Men's and Women's Individual Pursuits, and the Men's Team Pursuit. One down note for the Canadians is that Doug Baron went out of the competition in the quarter-finals (these results not yet available). He was relegated in his first ride for interference, and then lost the second ride. The Canadian team appealed the ruling, but to no avail. Heat is also a big factor, with trackside temperatures reaching 42 Celcius in the sun.
