The Speed River Cycling Club is proud to present the 2nd Annual Guelph Cross, the first of out three cyclocross events that are a part of this year's Southern Ontario Cyclocross Series.

Both novice and experienced cross racers are encouraged to come out and test themselves at these events made possible thanks to the generous support of our race sponsors: Speed River Bicycle, Wellington Brewery, United Rentals, Kona Bicycles, Cycles Lambert and Giro gloves and eyewear.

Guelph Cross is coming up on Sunday September 27th. This event returns to a great venue, the Joe Kaine Fields at Centennial Park Guelph. Located off of Municipal Street (see website for map) this urban park offers lots of varied terrain with fast off camber and hard cornering on steeper grass sections. With the majority of the race visible at all times this is a course that spectators are sure to enjoy.

There are cash and merchandise prizes up for grabs on race day. See the website for complete details.

The Optimist Club of Puslinch will be on site providing food for purchase.

Entry fees are $25 per day via pre-registration, with day-of entry available for an additional $10. Discounts are available for multiple-day registrations. Super Combo Offer: Pre-register once for all 3 days of racing (Guelph Cross + Halloween Cross Stage Race) for only $70!

We encourage all racers to support our fellow cross organizers at True North on Saturday. To make it easier we have acquired a discounted rate at the local Delta hotel which is easily within riding distance of both courses. When booking a room refer to booking code: GLSPRIVER

One-day event permits will be available for non-licence holders and US domestic licence holder. Pre-registration is available at: www.ontariocycling.org

Complete race information is available at our website: speedrivercyclingclub.org
