Saturday May 8th, 2010 will witness the 17th annual Constellation Brands Bristol Road Race (formally the Bristol Mountain Road Race) held in Canandaigua, NY a suburb of Rochester.  For all intents and purposes, this is a Canadian-centric event.  For the past three years, top placings in the Mens Pro-1-2 race have been earned by Canadians including Jeremy Riggs of Jetfuel last year and Derrek Ivey in 2008. Canadian riders have historically dominated the masters fields as well.

The Constellation Brands Bristol Road Race is a great early season test of fitness.  The race is held on a 17 mile loop featuring two significant climbs, the second of which is approximately 8 minutes at an average of 7%.  The finish is fast and flat, the entry fees are reasonable, the course is safe, the purse is solid, and we use chip timing for accuracy.  We're just about 4 hours away from Hamilton or Toronto making a day trip possible.  Visit www.rochesterroadracing.com for more information and to register.
