Phil Reinaers said that Alison lost her bottle in the first lap, and had to wait at the beginning of the second lap for a replacement.

Alison's reaction on the finish line :

This race was very emotional for Alison. She said that it was like a Worlds (ie, World Championship) race for her as this year all the eight rounds counted for the final ranking. She was pretty nervous before the race. She has been very well support by her team and so she received all the information that she needed to win the World Cup 99.
