June 24/10 17:39 pm - Organizer Needed for 2011 UCI Para-cycling Event

The Canadian Cycling Association is seeking expression of interest from T-PSOs and organizers to host a UCI Para-Cycling road event in Canada in 2011. This P1 UCI sanctioned event would ideally follow the World Cup being held in Baie-Comeau, QC on July 9-10, 2011, allowing a maximum of athletes to compete and earn precious UCI points towards the London 2012 qualification process.

The ideal submission would feature:

• Availability to host a Para-cycling road event preferably from July 15-17, 2011;
• Offer a fairly flat race course (maximum of 8% grade);
• Offer adapted facilities and accommodations;
• Knowledge of Para-cycling.
