In an effort to help promote "Kids on Bikes" the Forest City Velodrome will be organizing recreational road cycling rides from the Velodrome in south London.  These rides will be geared to youth between the ages of 12 - 18 years old.  Everyone is welcome to attend and learn bike safety for riding the road.

The Saturday rides will leave the FCV's parking lot at 10am.  Interested youth riders are asked to bring their (road, mountain or hybrid) bike to the FCV by 9:45am so we can leave at 10am sharp.  Our first ride leaves this Saturday May 7th.... our hope is to continue these rides every Saturday during the summer.

Following the road ride interested kids will be able to participate in the Velo-Kids introductory program at the FCV at Noon.  The regular youth structured workouts will begin at 1pm every Saturday.

The FCV expects this program to expand and we will be looking for ride leaders for each ability group.  The rides will last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the ability of each child.
