Second Annual IceBike Race - Sunday February 6

It was so cold it took this message 4 days to come by e-mail - ed.

Seventy Seven riders braved the elements to participate in the Second Annual IceBike Race sponsored by Woodcock Cycleworks. Weather conditions were nearly perfect for a fun afternoon. The Forks, Winnipeg's historical site located at the junctions of The Red and Assiniboine Rivers provided challenges not usually associated with off road riding, like ice skaters, toboggan slides, horse drawn sleighs and dogsleds. Race categories were decided based on distance with riders pre selecting the one they thought they could complete without freezing their toeses and noses.
