The Trek Red Truck presented by Mosaic Homes Cycling Team is pleased to announce that they will be entering the Mountain Bike arena. (email address corrected - see below)

TRTR Team Director Steve Engh, commented, "It's an obvious place for the team to go next - we have our affiliation with Alison Sydor (Mountain Bike Olympic Silver Medalist (1996), 3 time Mountain Bike World Champion and the only woman to win Canadian National Titles in Road, Mountain Bike and Cyclocross); our association with Trek, which produces some of the best mountain bikes in the world; and a massive pool of developing young riders that have come from the hotbed of mountain biking we live in. As with the road team, our core mission stays the same: to develop young cyclists to reach their fullest potential in their cycling endeavors and as individuals. Through our sponsors' and friends support, we provide an environment where our young athletes can compete at the highest level while still maintaining their educational pursuits."

The Trek Red Truck Mountain Bike Team powered by Mosaic Homes will kick off the season with a training camp in April. Look for the team at regional races in the lower Mainland and around the Pacific Northwest, including the BC and Canada Cup series.

The team will be accepting resumes from riders immediately, with the selection process taking place over the next two months. While all female and male riders are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to Junior and U23 riders, as well as those living in the Lower Mainland. Please send us a brief paragraph of what you can offer the team along with your race resume to: trekredtruckmtb@gmail.com
