October 18/13 23:26 pm - Hardwood Singletrack Challenge (Ontario)

Posted by Editor on 10/18/13

The Hardwood 50km and 24km SingleTrack Challenge will take place this Sunday October2 0 at Hardwood Ski and Bike. Sadly, this is the final MTB event on the OCA calendar for the season!

Entry Deadline is Saturday, October 19th, at 5:00 pm - There is NO Day of Entry.

Come Ride or Race 50 km of dedicated Mountain Bike Trails, and never ride the same single track twice! No road crossings, gravel road, or other traffic to worry about. This is your chance to enjoy all of Ontario's favourite mountain bike trails in one day. The trail crew are working hard over the next two days to leaf blow all the trails prior to the event!

Riders will tackle "Fun", "Cranked", "Serious", "Gnarly" and "Radical" courses for a total of 50 kms. You can ride it Solo or Tag Team, and partner up with a friend to take turns and split the distance. There are also Open and Youth categories for a less insane ride of 24 kms.

There is a field limit of 300 Solo and Tag Teams, so don't miss out!

The 2013 Rider Guide with full details of how the event works and Rules and Regulations are now posted.
