One down and three to go. After the success of the Orecrusher mountain bike race opening the 2014 Test of Metal Group of Events, racers can still enter the remaining races with a new 3-Pack entry.

The 3-Pack still gives people a chance to train for a great season of racing in Squamish with the Test of Metal up next on June 14th, followed by the Gearjammer on July 19th and Just Another Bike Race (JABR) on August 16th. This offer will also allow the new Cycling BC Youth Series to give young cyclists, ages 14-18, the ability to gain Cycling BC points in three more races this year without having to travel to far-away venues. Each of the Youth Series races will have a shorter finish line within the Test of Metal Group of Events races.

The price of the 3-Pack is $190 plus GST. Registration can be accessed from Test of Metal. Individual race entries are sold out for the Test of Metal, however, the 3-Pack registration is still available for riders who wish to race in all three remaining events. Individual entries are also available for the Gearjammer and Just Another Bike Race.

Riders who would like to take part in the 2014 BC Youth XC Mountain Bike Series events are asked to contact Cycling BC Race and Event Coordinator Barry Lyster (races@cyclingbc.net) to express their interest. Racers wishing to participate in the BC Youth XC Mountain Bike Series are required to sign up for the main event(s) in the Recreational ages 14-19 category.

Riders competing in the BC Youth XC Mountain Bike Series start the races with the main field. After passing through Cycling BC's mandatory youth series finish line and making themselves known to Cycling BC representatives, riders who wish to continue and complete the full race course are welcome to do so. Cycling BC will track series points and award series leader's jerseys for the eligible U15, U17, and U19 women's and men's categories.
