The Canadian Centre for Ethics is Sport (CCES) would like to inform the Canadian sport community that the 2015 Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP) Draft 2 is now available for review. The CCES is asking national sport organizations and sport leaders to provide their comments and feedback on the second draft of the 2015 Canadian Anti-Doping Program between now and September 8, 2014.

In April 2014, the CCES issued the first draft of the 2015 CADP for review and encouraged comments and feedback from the sport community. A national symposium was held in May 2014 as a central component of the consultation process. Comments collected from the symposium and consultation period were helpful in developing Draft 2.

"While our original plan was to issue the second draft by September 1, 2014, we expedited this process so it could be issued earlier to provide more time for consultation with the sport community," said Paul Melia, President and CEO of the CCES.

The CCES will review all submitted comments and issue the final version of the 2015 CADP for adoption by October 1, 2014.

Comments or questions on the draft should be sent to cadp2015@cces.ca.

For a summary of significant revisions from Draft 1 to Draft 2 of the 2015 CADP, download the Explanatory Note on the CCES website.
