August 26/15 10:32 am - Hansen Movie to Premiere at TIFF

We want to congratulate former Canadian rider (and sometimes Canadian Cyclist correspondent) Matt Hansen on having the world premiere of his first movie - Zoom - at the Toronto international Film Festival (TIFF) next month.

Hansen wrote the screenplay for Zoom, which is described on the TIFF website as:

Animated and live-action worlds intersect as a filmmaker, a comic-book artist and a novelist tell each others' stories, in this Canadian-Brazilian co-production starring Gael García Bernal, Mariana Ximenes, Alison Pill and Don McKellar.

The world premiere will take place on Tuesday, September 15th, at 10:15 pm in the Scotiabank Theatre, with a second showing at 9:45 pm the next night.
