Five positive cases have been announced from testing at the World Cups in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, last week. The Czech Republic currently has the second highest confirmed case rate in Europe, after Spain.

Austrian authorities required everyone coming to the world championships this week in Leogang from Nove Mesto to provide a negative COVID test no more than 72 hours old in order to enter the country and to get their credential. Tests were conducted at the race site on Saturday.

The race organization and the UCI are now requiring anyone who came from Nove Mesto to be tested again. Tests were conducted today and will be continued tomorrow.
