The Transalsp is a 8 stagepoint to point race for 2 person teams that takes place in Germany. The format is Raid type. Riders are responsible for booking their own accommodations or bringing sleeping bags and sleeping on the mattresses provided. Breakfast is available from the organizers. Covering 668 km in the 8 days, the terrain is brutal: mountain passes, rock slides and river crossings. Riders can be disqualified for any of the following infractions of the rules: Technical lack of equipment , health problems of the rider , rough rule offences, unsportsmanlike conduct, environmental pollution (littering). The start is in Mittenwald and finish in Riva del Gsarda.
