Canada Cup Final - Sun Peaks, BC

It is a third of the way into the second lap and Geoff Kabush is riding away from the men's field. He is now 1:30 in front of Andreas Hestler, who is a further 20 seconds ahead of Mat Toulouse. Ricky Federau is next at 3:00, with Peter Wedge and Julian Hine together at 3:15.

Jeremy Trudel and Frederic Bussieres lead the Junior Expert Men's race at the same point, 10 seconds ahead of Julien Fillion, with Tyler West and Stefan Witmer a further 10 seconds back.

Kiara Bisaro was walking away with the women's race, 2:45 in fromnt of Trish Sinclair. Claire Townsend is another 55 seconds back and eron Chorney is fourth, over 5 minutes behind Bisaro. There has been no sign of Canada Cup leader Marie-Helene Premont, and the word is that she is out with a broken seat. If she does not finish reasonably close to Sinclair, then the Ford-Devinci rider will take the overall title.

Saturn Cycling Classic

Jonathan Vaughters and Chris Horner have crested the last pass with a 3 minute lead on Mike Barry and Chris Wherry. It is all downhill to the finish. The women have been racing a criterium in Breckenridge, where Mike Barry's 'retired' wife Dede Demet-Barry just won ahead of Anke Erlank, Sarah Konrad and Lyne Bessette.
