Espoirs in Europe

Some tidbits of news from the Canadian espoir team riding in Europe.

Jean Francois Laroche led an almost Canadian sweep at a Belgium race in Harelbeke (UCI 1.13) on September 22nd.

Today (September 27th), Laroche followed up with a second place result in the first stage of the three-day Tour de Seine-Et-Marne (UCI 2.6).

Duration: 60 minutes. Start @ 12:30 PM

Open Women Cross
(Mountain bikes allowed)
Duration: 45 minutes. Start @ 11:15 am

Master Cross
(Cyclo-cross bikes only)
Duration: 45 minutes. Start @ 10:00 am

Sport Men Cross
(Mountain bikes allowed)
Duration: 45 minutes. Start @ 10:01 am

Junior Cross
(Mountain bikes allowed)
Duration: 45 minutes. Start @ 10:01 am

Location: Goldstick Pavilion: 4210 - 101 Ave Edmonton, Alberta.
Parking and shower facilities available. Venue of the 2001 Canadian National Cyclocross Championships

Course Length: 2.5 km circuit. Course will be marked and marshaled.

Entry Details:
$20/same day registration. 09/29/2002 Registration will close 30 mins prior to start.
Single Event License available for $10 + registration. First race @ 10:00 am.

Prize List: Cash and merchandise prizes will be awarded after completion of the Open Men's event.
