BTAC Announces Move to Montreal

The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada announced today it will be moving its ExpoCycle show to Montreal in 2003. ExpoCycle is the national trade show for the cycling industry in Canada. Slated for September 14, 15 and 16, 2003 ExpoCycle will take place at Place Bonaventure in downtown Montreal.

"We are very excited about the move to Montreal and the feedback from the industry has been tremdously positive" stated Janet O'Connell, Executive Director of BTAC. "After consulting with industry retailers and suppliers the decision was made to move ExpoCycle to Montreal. This event has always been held in Toronto and it is time for a change."

"Added to the excitement is the possible addition of a Demo Day on the Saturday proceeding the show. We have been asked numerous times by exhibitors and retailers to look at adding a Demo Day to the show, at this point we are looking at holding it in Bromont, Quebec. We are in the planning stages on this and will be looking to the industry again for input and feedback in order to provide a successful event."

Contact for exhibiting in ExpoCycle is Sumar Clark, ExpoCycle Show Manager at 905.853.5031; e-mail is sclarke@btac.org.
