Forest City Velodrome Association Announces 3 new Partners

The Forest City Velodrome Association is pleased to announce that 3 new corporate partners have come on board for the opening of Ontario's new Indoor bicycle track.

Travelodge, a national hotel chain in Canada, with a property within 1 minute of the Velodrome in south London will make available discounted rooms for visitors of the track. Exact details are still being worked out, and should be finalized by this weekend. Travelodge locations in Windsor, Chatham & London will be participating in the program. All a guest has to do is mention the Velodrome to receive a discounted room for the duration of their stay. Whether you are on business or coming to the track plan to stay at your local Travelodge. Book inadvance at www.Travelodge.ca . This program will save racers a lot of money. We welcome Brian Yeomans and his staff at all the Travelodge properties participating in the program

Tourism London, is the second partner this week to affiliate with the Velodrome. This is a unique partnership as we will be working together to bring recreational riders and racers to the London area to train on the track throughout the year. It is estimated that 15,000 family and friends of riders will come to London in the next 12 months. These visitors will shop, go to restaurants, stay over night, in general give a lift to the local economy. John Winston General Manager of London Tourism indicated that he and his staff are looking forward to introducing all the new visitors to our fine city. More information on London can be found at: www.LondonTourism.ca

Adventure Bound, from British Columbia, have agreed to make a Prorace or Isaac Carbon track bicycle available for the rental fleet at the track. Adventure Bound distributes a complete line of Mountain, Road & Track bicycles to the Canadian market. Adventure Bound owner Jean Guillemette from Fort St. John, B.C. is very excited to have the visibility of the indoor track in London to promote his line of bicycles. "The Southern Ontario market is new for us, we want to have dealers set up this summer and fall" said Mr Guillemette. "this is a win - win for Adventure Bound and the Velodrome, When new riders come to the track to learn how to ride. They will be able to use one of our new machines, go to a local dealer to buy the bike they had just taken for a spin". Complete line of products can be found at: www.AdventureBound.ca
