Delaware Park `Cross

The University of Buffalo Cycling Club will be hosting a cyclo-cross race on Sunday, October 23rd, 2005 at 1 pm. Registration will open at 11:30 am at Café Aroma. The race will take place at Delaware Park, Buffalo, NY.

It will be a mass start 1 hour event with $400 in cash and prizes.

Juniors (U18)

One day permits will be available for non-licenced riders.

BC Cross Cup #6: Vanier Park Classic

Krebs Cycle Club is pleased to present the Vanier Park CX Classic.
Saturday October 22.
Vanier Park, Vancouver.

Join in for the festivities, including a FREE race for kids (under 14 or new to riding). Goodie bags for all entrants to the kids race. Also, for those new to CX, learn the ropes at the morning clinic. If you're keen, put your skills to the test in the B race.

8:00 - Learn to Cross clinic
8:45 - Men's B Race
9:45 - CROSS FOR KIDS
10:15 - Women's Race
11:15 - Men's A Race

The Mike's Bike Shop Twilight Cross 4 a Cause
Presented by Mike's bike shop in conjunction with the Atlantic Cycling Centre

This 4-week series, starting Tuesday October 18th, 2005 at 6pm will help build and maintain your fitness, show you an incredibly fun and challenging new side to cycling. You'll learn skills and influence people and have a shooter!

It can't get any better you say? YES IT CAN and here's how we'll have refreshments and prizes each and every night!

And if you don't feel right having so much fun with so much suffering going on in the world, then worry no more ALL money raised up to the end of the series will be matched and that money will be donated to a charity.

So come on out and ride for a cause.

Details:

Cost: 2$ (to go to charity)
Where: Atlantic Cycling Centre, Rotary park, Dieppe.
When: Tuesday at 6pm (show up at 5:30!)
Duration: 4 weeks
Length: 30 min + 1 lap
What: ride whatever you have! (It's dirt/sand and grass.)

Extras:

Hot chocolate/music/shooters.
Handicap given to different levels! (Heavy bike old fat tired road bike all are welcome).
Awesome series final grand prizes donated by Mikes Bikes Shop!
The overall winner of the event will pick the charity!
