Ontario Mountain Bike Summit, September 25-27

Calling all mountain bike clubs, leaders, and advocates - IMBA Canada will be hosting the first-ever Ontario Mountain Bike Summit on the final weekend of September at Chicopee Ski and Summer Resort in Kitchener. Mark your calendars for 3 days of trailbuilding, education, advocacy, problem solving, networking, and inspiration. Help shape mountain biking in Ontario. More details to come.

Capilano University\'s Mountain Bike Students Present \"Roam the Loam\"

The students of Capilano University\'s Mountain Bike Operations Program invite all mountain bikers to the Roam the Loam Sunshine Coast Bike Festival, April 18/19 in Gibsons, BC. The 2-day festival is a year-end project that showcases what the students have learned about event management and trail development, while giving back to the mountain bike community. Saturday the 18th will feature a trailbuilding and maintenance project at the Sprockids Mountain Bike Park from 9:30am to 12:30pm, followed by informal rides, and a movie night at Eric Cardinal Hall (featuring Ryan Leech\'s newest movie \"Crux\" and \"Redbull Rampage: The Evolution\") at 6:30pm. Sunday is back at the Sprockids Park for a ribbon cutting ceremony and guided rides of the students\' new trail, instructional clinics, an expo area, demo bikes and BBQ. IMBA Canada at Ottawa Eco-Fair

Can recreation and conservation co-exist? You bet! IMBA Canada corporate member Creative Wheel Consulting will be sponsoring the IMBA table at this year\'s Eco-Stewardship Fair in Ottawa, on April 18th at the Ottawa RA Centre. Come and say hello and learn about the latest IMBA initiatives in the area.

24 Hours of Adrenalin Auctioning Team Spots for Trails

Stepping up once again, 24 Hours of Adrenalin is auctioning off 10 team spots to the sold-out World Solo Championships in Canmore, AB in support of IMBA Canada and Alberta trails. Last year the Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance and the Bow Valley Mountain Bike Alliance received grants from the program, and this year local clubs will once again benefit.
