Liberty! Bicycles Off-Road Squeezer - Update - Ontario
A deal was recently reached between the Ontario Cycling Association, and the Liberty! Bicycles Off-Road Squeezer, sanctioning the event for 2009. The agreement also creates a framework to work together for the future as well.
All Elite-level cyclists are welcome to attend this year\'s event. Early registration ends Saturday September 19th, after which point entry fees increase. There is no day-of-event registration available.
The Squeezer features an exciting afternoon start primarily for top-level riders, capped at 80. That start will offer $5000 in cash prizes for the Top-15 Men and Top-15 Women. First place is $1000 per gender. The level of excitement on the finishing stretch is always sky-high, and reminiscent of a European Classic. We expect phenomenal spectator support again this year. The race starts and finishes in Downtown St.Catharines.
Race date is Sunday, September 27th. 1100 Participant-Cap; Group/Wave Caps in effect. Register early to avoid disappointment. Details and registration at www.libertybicycles.com or call 1-877-99-PEDAL.
