Scarcely a year ago, Argon 18 announced a major expansion/redesigning of its Montreal facility, both in terms of office space and warehouse capacity. Following this initiative comes a number of new hirings that will help reduce delivery times while fostering enhanced communications between Argon 18, the members of our international distribution network and the cycling public. All told, four new members have joined the Argon 18 team.
Dominique Fortin will act as our Technical Sales Support specialist and will manage our demo bike fleet in Quebec and Ontario. He has worked in various capacities for a number of high-end bike shops, as well as a large bike manufacturer, and this experience will certainly help him understand and respond to the needs of our Canadian retailers.
Jean-Denis Gagnon joins the production team as Bike Assembly Technician, a new addition to help in our efforts to reduce delivery times. Jean-Denis knows the business, having spent the last decade working as an assembly/repair mechanic in road-centric shops, along with some years in assembly work for an established bike manufacturer.
Our warehouse is now in the capable hands of François Blais. Once the owner of a large, well-established bike shop, François comes to us with substantial technical knowledge and the kind of organizational skills that will help improve our production schedules and delivery times.
Antoine Couvignou-Ducharme is our new Assistant Marketing Manager. A graduate of Université de Montréal's Film and Advertising programs, Antoine's work will include acting as liaison with Argon 18 - sponsored athletes and teams, such as SpiderTech powered by C10, and will also emphasize Argon 18's web presence, feeding the company website and social networking pages with the latest news from these athletes and everything in the Argon 18 world.
