Windham World Cup Drops 4-Cross Event

The seventh round of the Mountain Bike World Cup, in Windham, New York on July 9-10, will no longer host a 4-Cross event, the UCI confirmed today.  There are no plans to replace the Windham event, leaving the series with five events.  The Windham event was late to confirm its participation in the World Cup series with sponsorship concerns only resolved this week, despite running a very successful World Cup Final in 2010.
