Frank Schleck has confirmed that his B sample from a July 14th Tour de France urine test has been found positive for the diuretic Xipamide, a banned substance. The Luxembourg rider, who races for Radioshack-Nissan, maintains in interviews with the media that he was either poisoned intentionally, or it was an accidental contamination.
Schleck said in a press release, "The result of the counter test was positive but for me nothing changes: I just know that I did nothing wrong. I will therefore continue my search to find out how the substance could have entered my body."
