Five members of the Quebec cycling community were among the honourees earlier this week at the 44th annual Quebec Sports Gala, held in Laval.
Athletes recognized were Simone Boilard (Road & Track) and Félix-Olivier Moreau (Road & Track). Provincial and national level BMX official François Lévesque was also honoured, as were two organizations - the Baie St-Paul organizers of the 2016 XCO/XCE/Relay national championships and the FQSC (Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes), the provincial governing body for cycling.
