Cyclocross results from Trofeo Gabicce Mare

Spadaccini Paul (CAN)   The race was held in Gabicce Mare near Rimini at the Adriatic Coast. There was a break of five guys rather early in the race (Wedge, Bramati, Stari, Iori, Dall'Oste). Peter Wedge was riding surprisingly well in the tricky sand sections on the beach. It was on of the spots were he always made some time up.  At the end, Bramati and Wedge fought a duel, which the Italian Worlds medallist just won by a couple seconds.  Worlds take place next weekend in Middelfart (Denmark) Canadian team: Spadaccini Paul, Wedge Peter, Westwood Kris (all Elite), Asseer Rudi (Under 23)
