Hesjedal Out

We have just learned that Ryder Hesjedal (Discovery Team) has abandoned the Giro d'Italia today in the 13th stage. Hesjedal was in a bad crash in stage 6, injuring his neck and right shoulder. He has been struggling in the climbs, and today's stage has five categorized climbs. Joseba Beloki (Liberty Seguros) has also abandoned.
