Commonwealth Games Report

The Canadian Cycling Team arrived in Malaysia this week, unfortunatly a few of the bikes got left in Montreal thanks too an over crowded, overbooked last minute airline (the team mechanic almost didn't make it too) Eric, Cezlaw and Lynne are riding the spare bikes this week, there own should arrive by Friday in time for Saturdays men's RR. The RR course was reportedly flat, however, upon inspection 2 hills are present on every 16 km lap. One is long (about a km but a big ringer for the guys) but the second is a very short 500m grade that should cause some excitment. There are also a few tight corners and cobbled round-abouts to make things exciting. The team is all very motivated and ready to kick some butt. The Aussies will be the big competition as they got just about all of their Euro roadies to commit to the Commonwealth Games.
