Lynn Bessette Wins Gold!

Canadian Lynne Bessette, a newcomer to the national cycling team has won Canada‚s second medal of the Commonwealth Games in the 92 kilometre women‚s road race, and the colour is GOLD!

Bessette took advantage of the fact that the Australian team was busy marking pre-race favourite Linda Jackson to get away in a small breakaway group and win. More details to follow later.
