Brad Fairall (Symmetrics Cycling) won the season opener for Men's Category 1/2 race at the SISU World Tuesday Night Championships. Lee Darling, club not known, won the Women's Category 1/2/3 race. The weekly 'Tuesday Nighters' see cyclists from across the Lower Mainland congregate at the UBC campus for training races hosted by Team Escape Velocity.

"The weather has cooperated for the first week of racing, and we're pleased with the number of cyclists who have decided to make these races part of their weekly training again this year. These races are a great opportunity for our club to give back to cycling in a very meaningful and visible way each week," explains Gordon Ross, President Team Escape Velocity.
