Doug Detwiller, founder of the Sprockids program, sent us a note on a Riding Clinic he recently conducted:
I have been conducting quite a few Sprockids Riding clinics and Sprockids Leader training over the past few months. Now that the good weather is with us things are really ramping up. On Friday April 28th I put on a 1 day Sprockids riding clinic for West Sechelt Elementary. We had over 120 students, from Grade 1 through to Grade 6 run through 10 stations. It was a fantastic day with everyone enjoying themselves, while learning a number of new riding skills. Starting with such young kids is the way to go. They are so enthusiastic about riding and there definitely was some future "Rippers" within the group. The parents that were watching their children participate in the clinic were very pleased to see how much their children enjoyed being active.
