Ontario MTB Cup #2

Albion Hills Conservation Area, Hwy #50, Bolton ON
The Plastiglas Ontario Cup #2 will kick off this Sunday May 14th at Albion Hills Conservation area just north of Bolton on highway #50. With almost 800 competitors at Albion Hills last year, this weekend's race is expected to match or surpass the previous race numbers. The 22 km enduro - style course utilizes the newly opened trail system created by Chico Racing. Some new technical single track will be sure to challenge all. The course distances ranges from 7 km to 44 km depending on the rider's age and ability level. The pro/elite riders will be racing at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the amateur events beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series consists of 7 events taking place at premier mountain bike venues all across Ontario. The events have categories for mountain bikers of all ability levels and are selection events for the Ontario Team competing at the Canadian National Championships.
Saturday May 13th
Pre - ride: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Short Track Events 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Sunday May 14th
X-Country racing: 9:00 am - 3:00 p.m.
Pro race starts at 1:00 p.m
