Donate Used Bikes For Disadvantaged Kids on June 3rd
On Your Bike! (www.onyourbike.ca) is looking for gently used kids, tweens and teens bicycles to help disadvantaged children throughout the GTA have a little cycling fun this summer. On Your Bike! will be collecting the bicycles at Rosedale United Church on Saturday, June 3 as part of their regular bike drive program.
On Your Bike! has collected more than 400 bikes since 2003 to distribute to interested agencies across Toronto. On Your Bike! is asking anyone with old, but still usable bikes to drop off their bikes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, which is at 159 Roxborough Dr., off Mount Pleasant Road. Adult bikes are not needed.
The organizers are also looking for volunteers who have experience with bike repair to help fix minor defects on the donated bikes as they are dropped off.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Zoey Fiksel 416-962-2453 or e-mail info@onyourbike.ca
