Our Team Village will be set up very close to the start/finish area and will give teams the opportunity to show themselves and their valuable sponsors off to spectators as the riders prepare and recover from this exciting event. Only teams who reserve space in advance will be guaranteed a space in the village.

The Westside Cycling Classic will again take place on Father's Day as part of the Point Grey Fiesta Weekend celebration and be an important fundraising event in support of the BC Cancer Foundation for the Wedgewood Cycling Team.

Volunteers Needed For Westside Cycling Classic

The Wedgewood Cycling Club is hosting the BC Provincial Road Race Championships in Point Grey on June the 18th and in order to do so, we need your help!

We are looking for people to act as COURSE MARSHALS for the day of the race.

This involves, helping to direct the racers on the course and keeping the course safe from traffic and pedestrians and is a great way to watch the event.

All volunteers receive a t-shirt, coffee, muffin, snacks, cold drinks and lunch.

Besides being the Provincial Championships, the race is also a fund raiser for the BC Cancer Foundation.

Here are the details:
Date: Sunday, June 18th
Time: 7am until 3pm

Location: Point Grey (Exact meeting location is still to be determined but it will be in the Start/Finish area - the merchant corridor on West 10th Ave)
