A Stage Race in Hamilton!
On July 9th, one week after the National Road Cycling Championships in Quebec, Elite bicycle racers will compete in the Nella/Cramaro Hamilton Classic. General Classification (overall placings) will be determined by total elapsed time after two races (stages).
In the morning, Alberton-Langford-Alberton. A flat, fast individual time trial course (ITT - 15 km) will no doubt sort out the field. The afternoon and evening races (60 - 80 km) are featured on a gentile 5 km circuit just South of Rymal Road. Start / Finish line action will be found on Twenty Road between Nebo Road and Glover Road.
Time bonuses offered during the Nella/Cramaro Circuit Races will give the road race sprint specialists their chance to share in the $8,500.00 cash prizes. Not quite a criterium, but fans will be thrilled by the multiple passes of the peleton and the sprints for points and time bonuses. All OCA/CCA/UCI elite road race categories will be recognized.
On-line pre registration only. Enter NOW!.
