Redden Second in Chicago

We have an initial report that Chrissy Redden finished second today in the U.S. National series cyclo-cross event in Chicago. She finished about 30 metres behind the winner (no name at this time). In the men‚s race it appears that Josh Hall was approximately 15th overall - 5th espoir. We will confirm the positions and get a full report tomorrow from Chrissy.


Cannondale Recall

Cannondale has issued a recall on CODA branded quick release assemblies. Poor fitting threading on the adjusting nut can slip, allowing the wheel loosen. The affected skewers can be identified by the CODA logo. Those with an oval around the word CODA should be returned to Cannondale retailers; those without the oval are fine. Affected 1999 models include:

R2000
R5000
Multisport 4000
F900 - F3000
Super V900 - V2000
Super V Raven 900 - 3000
Super V Freeride 900
Super V Raven Freeride 2000
Aftermarket quick release kits A384/ and A385/


Walters To Navigators

It looks like national road champion Mark Walters is moving to Navigators from Mercury.
