Kelso Conservation Hosts Ontario Mountain Bike Provincial Championships
Courtesy organizer
The Plastiglas Ontario Cup #7 Provincial Championships will kick off this Sunday, September 17th at Kelso Conservation area in Milton. Returning as the site of the Provincial Championships, it was just too difficult to find a course as worthy as this to test Ontario's riders. And with last years' edition seeing praise as the best course in Kelso's illustrious history, there will be few changes to a course that is both fun and demanding.
The course distances ranges from 7 km to 9.2km depending on the rider's age and ability level. The pro/elite riders will be racing at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the amateur events beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series consists of 7 events taking place at premier mountain bike venues all across Ontario. The events have categories for mountain bikers of all ability levels and event day registration is available on site with one-day permits available for some categories.
